This weekend we headed to one of our favorite beaches in Florida, Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, to check out their 47th Annual Amateur Sand Sculpture Contest. The contest was open to anybody who wanted to show off their sand sculpting skills. Just show up, sign up, and get to work! The sand on Siesta Key is famously fine and white, making it the perfect medium for some of Florida’s finest sand artists.
